Yes. Every pen we list has been physically inspected and authenticated by us before listing. We do not list pens we have not personally assessed. Montblanc pens have well-documented reference points - nib hallmarks, serial number ranges, material specifications, clip and trim details - and we check these on every piece. If a pen does not pass our authentication check, it does not get listed.

We use five condition grades across all listings:

• Mint: The pen shows no signs of use or wear. It may or may not include original box and papers. It presents as new.
• Excellent: The pen shows minimal signs of use. Any wear is very minor and typically only visible under close inspection. It writes perfectly.
• Very Good: The pen shows light signs of use consistent with careful ownership. There may be light surface scratches or minor brassing on trim. It writes perfectly.
• Good: The pen shows clear signs of use. Wear is honest and disclosed in the listing. It writes well. Good condition pieces represent the strongest value in our collection.
• Fair: The pen shows significant wear or has a specific issue disclosed in full in the listing. Fair condition pieces are typically for collectors who intend restoration or who want a specific model at the lowest possible entry point.

Yes. If a pen does not match its listing description when it arrives, contact us within seven days of receipt and we will arrange a return and full refund. The pen must be returned in the same condition it was received. We cover return shipping on any pen that was inaccurately described. Return shipping on change-of-mind returns is at the buyer's cost.

We ship via insured courier to all destinations within South Africa. Shipping is free on all orders. Pens are packaged securely and shipped with tracking provided by email once dispatched. Typical delivery times are two to four business days depending on your location.

Yes. At checkout, select Bank Transfer as your payment method and our banking details will be displayed. Once your payment reflects in our account we confirm and dispatch your order. EFT payments typically reflect within one business day for same-bank transfers and up to two business days for inter-bank transfers.
