At The Pen Collective we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Every pen we sell is described as accurately as we can manage, with detailed condition grades and photographs. If something is not right when your pen arrives, we will fix it.

Seven Day Return Window

If your pen does not match its listing description when it arrives, contact us within seven days of receipt at info@thepencollective.co.za and we will arrange a return and full refund. Please include your order number and a brief description of the discrepancy. We respond within 24 hours on business days.

The pen must be returned in the same condition it was received. Once we receive and inspect the returned pen, your refund will be processed within three business days to your original payment method.

Who Covers Return Shipping

If the pen was inaccurately described in the listing, we cover return shipping in full.

If you are returning a pen due to a change of mind, return shipping is at your cost. The pen must be returned securely packaged and with tracking. We recommend using an insured courier service as we cannot accept responsibility for pens lost or damaged in return transit.

Change of Mind Returns

We accept change of mind returns within seven days of receipt provided the pen is returned in exactly the condition it was received, unused, and securely packaged. Contact us first before returning any pen so we can confirm the return and provide return instructions.

Non-Returnable Items

Pens that have been used, modified, or damaged after receipt cannot be returned. Pens returned outside the seven day window will not be accepted unless an exception has been agreed with us in writing in advance.

EFT Refunds

If your original payment was made via bank transfer, your refund will be paid to the same bank account from which payment was received. Please include your banking details when contacting us about a return.
