The Montblanc StarWalker Red Gold Metal Fineliner 106868 is a new old stock piece. It has never been used or written with. It may show minor handling marks from storage and display over the years but presents in good overall condition. The red gold plated fittings and clip show minor surface tarnishing consistent with age and extended storage rather than use. This is a natural characteristic of red gold plating over time and does not affect the pen’s writing performance or structural integrity in any way.

The barrel and cap are matte black lacquered metal decorated with precision diamond-cut lines throughout. The fittings and clip are finished in red gold plate, the warm tone of which contrasts distinctly against the dark barrel. The clip carries embossed Montblanc lettering on the clip ring. The floating white Montblanc star sits in the transparent cap dome. No issues to report on barrel, cap, clip, or diamond-cut decoration beyond the tarnish noted on the red gold plated areas.

The pen writes via a felt tip fineliner refill delivering a clean, consistent fine line. It has not been used and writes as new. It also accepts a standard Montblanc rollerball refill, giving the owner flexibility in daily use. The cap closes with a snap and seals the tip correctly.

This pen comes complete with its original Montblanc box and papers.
