The Montblanc Donation Pen John Lennon Special Edition Rollerball 105809 is unused and comes complete with its original box, papers, and the accompanying miniature Imagine vinyl record.
Launched in 2010 as part of Montblanc's Donation Pen series, a percentage of proceeds from every piece sold at retail supports selected cultural projects for young artists. This edition honours John Lennon, with the barrel and cap crafted in black precious resin, finely grooved across the surface to resemble the texture of a vinyl record. The platinum plated clip is shaped as a guitar neck, with an imagined resonance hole worked into the design, within which Lennon's own miniature self portrait is engraved.
The pen writes via a standard Montblanc rollerball refill with a steel tip.
This was a special edition produced for a short production period rather than a fixed numbered run, and is sold out worldwide, no longer available through any authorised Montblanc retailer.
