Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand Pix Fountain Pen, 14k Gold Nib
The Montblanc Meisterstück 146 Pix is a variant of the classic LeGrand size, produced in the mid 1990s and distinguished by the word Pix inscribed on the underside of the clip, visible only at an angle, a detail specific to this production run rather than found on current pieces.
This example presents in excellent condition. The barrel and cap are the deep black precious resin found throughout the Meisterstück line, with gold-coated fittings and the white Montblanc star at the cap. No chips, cracks, or discolouration on barrel or cap. The clip carries an individually engraved serial number.
The nib is a solid 14k gold nib, stamped with the 4810 hallmark confirming authenticity. The pen fills via piston mechanism, drawing ink directly from a bottle.
This pen does not come with its original box or papers.
