The Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire Ceramics Black Prisma 103106 is a new old stock piece. It has never been inked or written with. It may show minor handling marks from storage and display over the years but presents in excellent condition throughout and is indistinguishable from new in normal use.
The barrel is high quality stainless steel finished in platinum plate. The cap is black ceramic with a tactile square relief pattern throughout - a surface texture that is distinctive to the touch as well as visually striking. The Montblanc emblem is inlaid into the ceramic cap. Three platinum plated rings embossed with the Montblanc brand name sit at the barrel joints. The platinum plated clip carries an individual serial number engraved in the clip ring. The contrast between the matte black ceramic cap and the polished platinum barrel is the defining visual character of the Black Prisma series - masculine, precise, and unlike anything else in the Meisterstück Solitaire range. The nib is a handcrafted 18k gold nib with rhodium plated inlay in Medium size. The pen fills via cartridge and has not been inked. It writes as new. It is compatible with the full range of standard Montblanc ink cartridges and also accepts a Montblanc converter for bottled ink use.
This pen comes complete with its original Montblanc box, outer packaging, and service guide.
